lasers: Alexandrite, Neodymium-Yag, Ruby, Diode, among others. Each has different uses in the
world of dermatology/esthetics. Among these various existing types of lasers, Alexandrite was
created specifically for hair removal, making it our choice and that of most specialised clinics. It is
a technology that requires a high investment but is effective. At Clínicas do Pêlo, you will find the
latest model of Alexandrite and YAG laser with a 18/20/24mm Spot diameter (the largest on the
market). This reflects the success of the treatment and the lower number of shots needed for the
treated area.
The number of sessions varies according to the objective and the characteristics of each client’s skin and hair. Depending on the area, an average of 6 to 8 sessions are required, though they may exceed this number. Maintenance sessions may also be necessary. The interval between sessions varies from one month to six months. In order to clarify any questions free consultation is available upon
